Took my 2004 Ford F150 into Midas to get a tune-up when it started running rough at 79,000. Midas did half the work, the Ford dealer did the other half. There is a problem with spark plugs and the head design with the Triton 5.4 V8. (see here) Got handed a bill for $1500.
After the tune-up I drove the truck 500 miles before I lost the first cylinder. Now Ford wants $8500 to replace the motor.
The new 2004 FORD F150 has lot of striking features .Its a truly dream car for me.
